$100 - $150/HR
These one-of-a-kind adventures take your trouble-making, shoe-chewing, hole-digging best friend—and I—into the Rocky Mountains to explore new places, discover new smells, and return home with one satisfied, exhausted pup.
Why the higher price? Because your dog is my top priority. I don’t juggle packs or squeeze in shortcuts—I give full attention to one dog at a time.

Have two dogs? I’ll take both for a slightly higher rate. Have one but want a buddy along? You can “borrow” one of mine—we’ll make it work.

Maximum group size: two dogs. Always personal. Always intentional.

Every adventure is personalized to match your dog’s energy level, temperament, and breed—because one-size-fits-all doesn’t work with tails and personalities.

I'm based out of Utah County, UT but, I will travel if the price is right.
Training
Compassionate Dog Trainer
I trained my PTSD and Diabetic service dog. I'm working with my amazing wife and her dog to become her seizure support dog. I'm working with my awesome son and his dog to become a "scent" dog. Look, I don't claim to be accredited or have accredidation from any of those schools that say they need to teach you how to teach dogs. But I am pretty dang good at what I do.

My absolute passion though, is working with the "bad" or "naughty" dogs. Why? Because I was one. I was the "naughty" kid that all of the neighborehood kids would get grounded from playing with because I was the bad influence. When really, people just didn't understand me and what I was trying to communicate with them.

I can come to you. You can come to me. We can meet in the middle. I would love to start with a consultation and meet you and yours and observe a little bit and get to know you guys. We can come up with goals or a plan together. Remember, all of these services are pay by donation or trade.

"Grooming"
Yep, "Grooming" is in "" because that's exactly what you'd get. I'm not a professional but I can help. Again though, based on donation or trade.

Brushing

I'm totally down to run a brush through your pup's fur. You know what? I'll even include brushing their teeth!

Sink Bath
Just what it sounds like... A bath in a sink.

Nail Clipping
Not good at it, but I'll try...
Availible to rent or contract

About our donation for or trade for services

Our Approach
Pricing and why it is how it is:

Things that I need to be accreditted for like training, grooming, or borrowing a dog I don't feel comfortable giving you price for. So, I can send you a bill for what everyone else charge you but you only pay what you think you should. What is the training worth to you? What is your time worth to you? I'll help you, you donate to me.

Another possible avenue for payment is by trading services with me. You tell me what you need with your dog and I can ask for your help in, maybe, hauling something for me. Or, help me fold a load of laundry or something.

My mission is to make the human dog connection stronger for those who need it, educate anyone and everyone on my modern progressive style of behavioral rehabilitation and have just enough to live.
Sewing Through Seizures
Back in March '25 my amazing best friend and wife starting having non-epileptic seizures that happen sporadically. On her bad days she's lost count at about 85 seizures and on her best day so far she's had three! Every single day is different but one thing that is staying consistant has been sewing. She's making everything from little baby moccasins to quilted dog callars to small, medium, and large, quilted boxy bags. Chek 'em out here

Death to Foxtails!
Foxtails ruin everything—and we’re not having it. Rocky Mountain Dog Services is exploring quirky, practical ways to help keep your pup foxtail-free. From DIY paw protection to trade-based weed removal, we're building an initiative that’s equal parts smart, scrappy, and dog-driven.
Bor-Schnor-a-Dor
A new breed of dog specific for therapy needs
The two dogs that started this whole new journey and are responsible for Rocky Mountain Dog Services are Dottie (My current PTSD Diabetic Service dog) and Ace (One smart cookie that is learning how to tap into how powerful his nose is) Check 'em out here.
